Cornell Design’s most usual method of client engagement is through embedding our experienced designers into our client’s engineering or design department at time when they need some additional or specialist capacity. Our services are tailored to your needs and hence placements can be from a couple of days at a time to many months depending on your requirements.

Our ability to deploy experienced ‘hands’ quickly and hit the ground running brings clients instance scalability of their design resourcing to ensure deadlines are met.

Our extensive mechanical design services range from developing concepts or sketches through to fully developed, 3D models and assemblies. From these models, usually created in AutoDesk Inventor or SolidWorks, full 2D manufacturing drawings, bill of materials and electronic manufacturing data is created and supplied so that they can commence manufacture and procurement. Cornell Design provides mechanical designers with PC Workstations at your premises at no extra cost to you. and electronic exchange formats for machining, laser profiling and folding, etc., are generated.
